He graduated in 1996 from the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade, Department of History. He defended his master\u2019s thesis \u201eFinancial Policy of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes\u201c in 2002 at the same faculty, under the mentorship of prof. dr \u0110or\u0111e Stankovi\u0107. He defended his doctoral dissertation entitled \u201eMinistry of Finance of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia 1918\u20121941\u201c in 2009 at the same faculty, under the mentorship of prof. dr Ljubodrag Dimi\u0107.<br><br>Since 2012, he has been employed at the Institute for Serbian Culture \u2013 Pri\u0161tina as a research associate, and during 2016 he was also in the position of temp. director. From the moment of employment, he was engaged in the project \u201eMaterial and spiritual culture of Kosovo and Metohija\u201c, whose leader was Dr. Dragana Janji\u0107. Within this project, he processed the history of private financial institutions in the area of Kosovo and Metohija, as well as Stara Serbia and the south of central Serbia.<br><br>He is on the editorial boards of the magazine:\u00a0<em>Ba\u0161tina, Leskova\u010dki zbornik and Rasinski anali.<\/em>\u00a0He was a member of the editorial boards of the following thematic collections:\u00a0<em>Tradition, changes, historical heritage, issues of statehood and national identity in Kosovo and Metohija,<\/em>\u00a0Leposavi\u0107 2014;\u00a0<em>Kosovo and Metohija in the context of the Balkan peoples and states<\/em>, I, Leposavi\u0107 2016 and\u00a0<em>Kosovo and Metohija in the context of the Balkan peoples and states<\/em>, II, Leposavi\u0107 2016.<br><br>He is the editor of four scientific monographs and one of the editors of thematic collections:\u00a0<em>Bulgarian occupation of southern Serbia in the First World War 1915-1918<\/em>, Leskovac 2016;\u00a0<em>Embrace in the history of the Serbian people<\/em>, Veliki \u0160iljegovac 2017;\u00a0<em>Pomoravlje Gate in the spiritual history of the Serbian people<\/em>, Svojnovo \u2013 Kru\u0161evac 2017; Juhorski zapis, Svojnovo \u2013 Kru\u0161evac 2018;\u00a0<em>Southern Serbian regions in the XIX and XX century: socio-economic and political aspect,<\/em>\u00a0Vranje 2018;\u00a0<em>Kru\u0161evac and its surroundings in the First World War,<\/em>\u00a0Kru\u0161evac 2018;\u00a0<em>Kru\u0161evac and its surroundings in the history of the Serbian people,<\/em>\u00a0Kru\u0161evac 2019;\u00a0<em>Juhorska \u010dtenija,<\/em>\u00a0Svojnovo \u2013 Kru\u0161evac 2021 and Vranjski glasnik, Vranje 2021.<br><br>Dr Beci\u0107 is a member of the Supervisory Board of the Association for Social History UDI Euroclio from Belgrade and the Society for Economic History from Belgrade. On two occasions he was a mentor for the preparation of doctoral dissertations.<br><br>He is the author of three scientific monographs and more than seventy scientific
