He is currently working as a research assistant at the Institute for Serbian Culture Pri\u0161tina \u2013 Leposavi\u0107. His main field of interest is an interdisciplinary and comparative research of Serbian literature, especially in the context of ecocriticism. In addition to scientific papers, \u0110urkovi\u0107 publishes literary criticism, essays, teaching materials, and is an editor at PPM Enklava publishing house, specialized for contemporary Serbian poetry.
