BIOGRAPHY
Jasmina Knežević, scientific associate, was born in 1974 in Novi Sad.
Education:
She graduated in 2004 at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Novi Sad. Topic: The role of phraseology in the characterization of characters in the plays of Dušan Kovačević.
Dr Knežević received her master’s degree in 2014 at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Novi Sad. Topic: Dreams in the literature of Serbian romanticism.
She received her PhD in 2019 at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Novi Sad. Topic: Romanticism in Serbian literature from an imagological perspective.
Work experience:
Institute for Serbian Culture – Priština / Leposavić in the interval from 2004 to 2006, and from 2008 until today. The projects on which she was engaged are (in chronological order): Historical and national bases of spiritual and material culture of the Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija (ev. No. 101106) in the interval 2004-2005; Spiritual phenomena and creativity of the Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija from the 15th to the 20th century (ev. No. 148020) from 2008 to 2010; and from 2011 until today she has been working on the project Material and Spiritual Culture of Kosovo and Metohija (ev. no. 178028). All projects were financed (and the last one is still financed) by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia.
Institute of Slavic Philology of the Jagiellon University in Krakow (Poland): lecturer for the Serbian language in the interval from 01.10.2006. to 30.09.2008.
