She graduated in 1994 at the Faculty of Philology, University of Belgrade, where she got her master in 2000 with the subject ’Anthic myth in the prose of Borislav Pekić’. At the same faculty she obtained her PhD wit the title of the disertation ’ Biblical subtext of Serbian prose’ (Borislav Pekić, Danilo Kiš, Milorad Pavić, Mirko Kovač, Vladan Dobrojević)’.
She worked as a high school teacher, a librarian at the National Library of Serbia, a professor at the International Faculty in Novi Pazar, at the State University in Novi Pazar, at the Faculty of Foreign Languages of „Alfa“ University.
Since 2006 she has been engaged at the Institute for Serbian Culture Prishtina – Leposavic, on the project Spiritual Phenomena and Creation of the Serbian People in Kosovo and Metohija from the 15th to the 20th Century, and since 2011, she has been engaged again at the Institute for Serbian Culture Prishtina – Leposavic, on the project Material and Spiritual Culture of Kosovo and Metohija (Ev. No. 178028).
She won the “Isidoriana” award for the best books of Serbian literature in 2007 (for the following books: Anthropopeia: the biblical subtext of Pekić’s prose and The Inner Side of Postmodernism: A Look at Theory / Pavić). In 2014, she received the “Nikola Milošević” award for the book Storyteller and Story. For her review work, she was awarded the “Distinguished Reviewer” charter in 2020.
